Generating Theatrical Fog and Atmospheric Perspective
Painting the Air
When directors say a shot lacks "volume," they mean the air is too clean. On a professional set, the first thing they do is turn on the haze machine. Haze makes light physical. Prompting for it is mandatory for the cinematic look.
Key Features
- Light Beaming (God Rays): Without fog, light is invisible until it hits a wall. Force the AI to render the air itself, creating distinct, beautiful shafts of light through the room.
- Distance Separation: Use heavy atmosphere to turn background trees into silhouetted grey shapes, instantly providing depth and scale to the 2D image.
- The "Blade Runner" Density: Generate thick, colorful neon smog that entirely obscures the ground, perfect for heavy sci-fi worldbuilding.
How It Works
- Place the Backlight: Ensure you have a strong light source positioned behind the subject.
- Turn on the Haze Machine: Add: "Thick volumetric fog, heavy atmospheric haze, light shafts piercing through the smoke, cinematic depth".
- Render the Volume: The video becomes incredibly dense, moody, and three-dimensional.
